On a overcast Friday evening in September Amir and Kim said I do. Their day was calm and rich. Friends and family gathered, surrounding them with raw and genuine love. Kim chose to get ready at the W Hotel in Downtown Seattle with her sisters. Kim chose the Avalon gown by designer Ranna Gill. Her florals were an array of seasonal foliage that complimented their blush and navy palatte, made by the Uptown Metropolitan Market.
The couple desired to have some quiet moments prior to their ceremony. Amir met Kim for their 'first look' at the the Volunteer Park Conservatory just before closing. They had the space almost completely to themselves.
Their intimate, vintage inspired ceremony was held at the Historic Rainier Chapter House tucked in the heart of Seattle at the top of Queen Anne. They filled their day with meaningful details....from the wine they chose to Kim walking down the aisle barefoot as her mother and sisters did at their weddings. Poetically raw and emotional. Following the ceremony we chased the light through the surrounding neighborhood and A+K soaked each other in.
