//2016.// A year in review by Dannie Melissa Wit.

I've been going through folder after folder from all the moments throughout this year.

Oh my it was Oh-so-Good.

I am so so grateful for all of my incredible clients. Those who have trusted me to document such intimate and fleeting moments of their lives. It was impossible to add every one of my favorites this post would have gone on for days. If we worked together in 2016, thank you. Truely.

Thank you for supporting me and my family. I am so so deeply thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for inviting me into your homes and on adventures with you and often treating me like family. Thank you for allowing me to witness your weddings and births. Thank you for being vulnerable and most of all for trusting me.

Thank you to my husband Tristan for being such a rock. Thank you for picking up where I often fall short while trying to balance home and work. Thank you for loving our kids and taking them on countless adventures to give me a quiet workspace. I appreciate you more than I often communicate.

I am grateful to all the creative community that I have had the honor of meeting, collaborating with and becoming dear friends. Thank you for being there to talk shop at all hours of the day (& night), cry, laugh and learn together and even inviting me to document your loved ones, it means more than words can say.

Thank you to my amazing colleagues, second shooters and most of all dear, dear friends Cassie Marino & Kristin Hallak. Thank you for being my second set of eyes, comic relief and travel companions. I treasure you.

Thank you to all the amazing artists who have invited me to assist them during their wedding days. I had fun traveling and working with each of you. Jenny Storment, Julia Kinnunen, Kristin Hallak, Yunkin Keophomma.

2016 has been a joy. Looking forward to all the exciting sessions and collaborations that are currently in process for 2017 and many more to come. Thank you for following along in this journey.
