Moody Green & Blush Bridal Portrait Inspiration. || Vashon Island, Washington.

Swoony swoon swoon. You know that after rain glow...When it rains so hard...then the sun breaks through the clouds and streams through the trees? Well, that happened during our '50 Shades of Green and Blush' Collaboration. I was with some of my favorite creative ladies..We were tucked in the forest of Vashon Island and it started poring. It was moody and magical.

Honeybee Sessions. || Rain, Ice or Shine. || Fall 2015.

This past fall I brought back Honeybee Sessions. I love them so much as they are a fun way to end the year. It was so much fun to see many familiar and new faces!  We had just about every weather type happen during our sessions, pouring rain, overcast, sun breaks, ice and sunshine!  It's amazing the different beauty changes in light and weather can make the same beautiful location look.

Amir & Kim.|| Intimate City Wedding at the Historic Rainier Chapter House.|| Seattle, Washington.

Their intimate, vintage inspired ceremony was held at the Historic Rainier Chapter House tucked in the heart of Seattle at the top of Queen Anne. Following the ceremony we chased the light through the surrounding neighborhood and A+K soaked each other in.

These two. They are the kind of people you want to just squeeze because you heart them so much. They are also some of the most creative people I've ever known. A artistic, dynamic duo they are. Jerome is the mastermind behind my logo and just wait, him and Sarah are teaming up to add some more awesomeness, that I cannot wait to share. But, back to Jerome, if you need design work, he's your guy. I cannot say enough abut his creativity, talent and just being a genuine nice guy.

“The strongest oak of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It’s the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for its existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun.” ― Napoleon Hill

Woven. || Newborn Family Session.

I often say how honored I am to be allowed to capture my clients -deeply- meaningful memories. This story is no exception. This is Rit. Before the birth of her baby she asked me to document her wearing her traditional Montagnard dress while holding her son. A few short months later we did just that. Just as the sun was rising, we met in an open grassy field that had the essence of the land that surrounded the village that she grew up in.
